AP Microeconomics Test Prep

Should you play video games or do homework? Should we increase minimum wage or eliminate it altogether? What is the value of a college education? In this course, you’ll use quantitative techniques to explore the world of money, business, people, and more! You’ll learn how to maximize profits as a CEO, see how your decisions impact the real world, and gain a more holistic understanding of what makes our world tick, all while surveying all the topics covered on the AP exam. No previous experience required! (Note that additional work is must be completed outside of this class to do well on the AP exam)

Teacher: Henry Weng

Henry Weng is a current senior at Saratoga High School and is the co-founder of the Youth Economics Initiative, the largest coalition of high school economics clubs in the world. He received 5s on both the AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics exams as a freshman and was ranked 4th in the nation for economics at FBLA Nationals. Henry is also the founder and president of Saratoga High’s Economics Club and is the co-president of Saratoga High’s FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) chapter.
